"I picked up the graphic novel after watching the movie. It's a very good story of what it would take for people to dress up in costumes and fight crime. It also leaves you with a moral quandary of what is the price of peace and safety? What are we willing to give up? Very apt and poignant questions in the times we live in. The book did end slightly different than the movie, though the basic dilemma is the same, just a different scapegoat. I much prefer the movie ending over the book. I will say that the graphic novel is, well, graphic. If you've seen the movie you'll understand. This isn't something I'd hand to a young teenager to read."
